The Black Bear Cold Storage and Distribution Facility houses over 266,000 square feet of the newest, ultra-modern, technologically superior refrigerator / freezer foods storage and handling environment in the Delaware Valley - Tri-State areas. Over 7.6 million cubic feet are configurable to over 36,000 pallet positions.
Competitive rates are offered for services including import / export USDA inspection, frozen meat tempering, and customized storage and shipping including on-line inventory and transaction visibility. Black Bear utilizes RF Technology for all shipping transactions and is implementing a signature tablet to allow for all shipping transactions and electronic document sharing throughout the storage and distribution process. Black Bear also distributes for Dietz & Watson, Inc. nationally allowing operational synergies and benefits from management experience with temperature controlled food handling.
